Heather Knowles is a dedicated horticulturist who has a passion for Australian Native Plants and Cycads. Being based in Rosewood, Heather is enthusiastic about native fauna and flora in the Ipswich and surrounding areas.

Heather has achieved a Diploma of Horticulture and takes pride in her work and conservation with respect to Ipswich and surrounding areas.

Newerah Natives also complies with Biosecurity requirements for Fire Ants and that the ARMP has been in place for a number of years. In addition to this, Newerah Natives has a propagators permit (APQ 655) which is needed to propagate some native plants, including some cycads.

All of our plants are fertilized with a slow release native plant fertilizer which is environmentally friendly, and continues to release nutrients after the plants have left the nursery.

Our nursery in Rosewood has an extensive range of Australian native plants available. We can assist with recommended fertilizer, potting mix, planting tools and tree guards.
